Kitchen Table Covers Week 6: Everything is Free

I think I mentioned last week that "Helpless" basically recorded itself, right? Well I got my payback with the song I chose this week.

I picked Gillian Welch's "Everything is Free", which is an all-time favorite of mine, but a song that I'd never attempted to play until this week. It was so hard to play and sing at the same time, oh my LORD! 

The upside is that I got lots of practice, as it took me at least 15 attempts to even get through to the end of the song. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But I loved every minute of it, I wish I could do this all day, every day!

This original version of this song is so incredible. She's obviously singing about the music industry, but I think her lyrics would resonate with anyone pursuing their passion.
